I don't know about the extra energy, but my family & I drink the Glaceau vitamin water & we love them. They are not too sweet like some other drinks & the lemonade one taste great, as well as the ice tea & other ones that Glaceua makes. V-8 now has juices out too that contain fruit flavors & are healty too, we like those as well.

I drink a lot of RED BULL! It will give you a buzz like something illegal? I need it for my classes with the 12 year olds!

I am seventy years old, I like the flavored water/ vitamin, sold by that name. I don't like cola or those power drinks. These are only one dollar also. They have a mild taste and, I found mixing them half and half with iced tea, they're good.

Propel Black Cherry flavor tastes like heaven. It's the first flavor to sell out. I do feel increased stamina. I'm 61. Even on my fixed income, one month I splurged, tired of finding my flavor sold out, and ordered a case. I've also tried SmartWater, its price still as high as Propel was when it was new. SmartWater has electrolytes. It was market tested here, with only the non-flavored version offered, and was indeed, as delicious and stamina-promoting as the 20ish woman in a waiting room told me it was.

I don't really care for the flavored waters, they taste too watered down and artificial. Those energy drinks are very different tasting than a flavored water. Nothing like coffee. I have tried a few of them including red bull and they give me a bad headache and really upset my stomach. If I choose to drink a flavored water I just use plain water and squeeze some fresh lemon in.

Most of them taste nasty and the only energy in most of the energy drinks is caffeine so I say take your vitamins and have a cup of coffee. cheaper and better tasting too!

the vitamin waters are good… non-carbonated, sweetened but not too much (depends what you’re used to).. the costco brand ones are sugar free.. I like most of the flavors.. and aren’t too expensive if you buy them that way…
I like the energy drinks as well..some of them are pretty tasty, however those, I think are WAY over-priced, and I don’t believe that much sugar/caffeine is good for me… I do get a little kick off of the energy drinks, but I think it wouldn’t have the same effect if I drank them all the time….

I certainly am not the best source for an answer but some of those that I have tasted have a remarkable good flavor and some are quite unique in a good sort of way. I doubt that any are all that much good for you. Water is probably just as good if you are paying proper nutritional attention to your diet.

The vitamin drinks taste like weak flavor. The energy drinks taste horrible. I have tried 4 different ones. They didn't give me any extra energy..I don't think they are worth the money. They usually have too much sugar in them. The energy drinks also have too many calories.
