Logos and brands can work well for a business, but they are costly as you need to maintain the perception created. You are adding to the basic style of the business and trying to sell your brand. Some areas work better than others, such as franchises. In consumer markets you have to calculate the cost/benefit. Effectively the power and strength is a bought commodity and therefore can only be grown by the amount spent. For any organisation branding and logo's can have benefit, however it cannot on its own reflect status because it is simply a created image.
References :
is the LOGO give business or the BUSINESS creates LOGO.

logo GIVES PRIDE, LAZY - IT CLOSES THE EYES - MAKE THE CORPORATE TO BELIEVE THAT EVEY THING CAN BE MARKETED WITH THE LOGO.- then corporate becomes sick.

is that all about a corporate need.

Corporates should give value to its LOGO - otherwise corporates dies fist and then LOGO follows it.

the issue is a serious CASE STUDY - please Analise without bias.

Corporates performance is the back bone of LOGO and it is certainly not the other way round
References :
To what extent do you feel any organisation’s logo is a reflection of its power, strength and market place?
With regards a corporate identity and branding, how much can one say that a logo is a genuine reflection of an organisation's status??
